How it works
Gauges with different refresh rates
Open the DeskUtils menu to see CPU, memory and disk storage gauges at the top. CPU and memory refresh every second; disk storage refreshes when the menu opens and every 30 seconds after. Monitoring pauses while the menu is closed or the Mac is asleep.

No additional macOS privacy permission is required. Readings stay on your Mac.

How often do the readings update?

Does it show per-app usage or alerts?
No. It shows overall CPU, memory and disk storage gauges, without per-app statistics, disk activity monitoring or high-usage alerts.
Does it need a permission?
No additional macOS permission is required, and the readings stay on your Mac.
