Using DeskUtils

DeskUtils grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the application on supported Macs that you own or control, subject to these terms.

You may not sell, sublicense, redistribute, or provide your license key to another person. You may not attempt to bypass license limits or use DeskUtils in a way that violates applicable law.

Free and paid licenses

The free version may be used without payment or a DeskUtils account. When paid licenses become available:

• DeskUtils Pro will permit activation on one Mac.
• DeskUtils Pro Multi-Mac will permit activation on up to three Macs owned or controlled by the same person.
• Paid features and updates will be available during the active annual license period.

Annual renewal and cancellation

Paid DeskUtils licenses are annual licenses, billed yearly and renewed automatically until cancelled. You may cancel future renewal through the purchase-management tools provided with your order. Cancellation stops the next renewal and does not retroactively refund the current license period.

Payments and license delivery

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, acting as Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy handles payment processing, applicable taxes, receipts, and payment-related refunds. After purchase, a license key will be delivered using the contact information provided at checkout.

Refunds

You may request a refund within 14 days of the original purchase or annual renewal by emailing deskutils.app@gmail.com with enough order information to identify the transaction. Approved refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy and may revoke the associated license.

Beta software

DeskUtils is currently beta software. Beta builds may contain defects, change without notice, require additional macOS confirmation during installation, or behave differently from a future stable release. Back up important data and do not rely on DeskUtils as the sole copy of information you need to retain.

System requirements and updates

The current beta requires macOS 26 or later and supports Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. Requirements may change as macOS and DeskUtils evolve. Updates may modify, add, or remove features. Roadmap items and “Coming soon” descriptions are plans, not guarantees of a release date or final functionality.

Warranty and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DeskUtils is provided “as is” and without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. DeskUtils is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the application. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes and contact

These terms may be updated as DeskUtils develops or its licensing changes. Material changes will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
