Using DeskUtils

DeskUtils is an independent macOS application developed by Vu Trung Kien. You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the application on supported Macs you own or control, subject to these terms.

You may not sell, sublicense, redistribute or provide your license key to another person, bypass license limits, or use DeskUtils in a way that violates applicable law.

Free and Pro

The free version may be used without payment or a DeskUtils account. Pro sales are not open yet. The planned Pro license covers 1 Mac and includes Pro features and updates during the active annual license period.

The introductory price is $7.99 USD per year; the regular price is $14.99 USD per year. No offer expiry or renewal-price guarantee is announced on this website. Applicable taxes and the final purchase terms will be shown at checkout when sales open.

Annual renewal and cancellation

Pro is an annual license. When sales open, annual licenses will be billed yearly and renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel future renewal using the purchase-management tools provided with your order. Cancellation stops the next renewal and does not retroactively refund the current license period.

Payments and license delivery

When available, payments will be processed by Lemon Squeezy, acting as Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy handles payment processing, applicable taxes, receipts and payment-related refunds. A license key will be delivered after purchase for activation in DeskUtils.

Refunds

When Pro sales open, you may request a refund within 14 days of the original purchase or annual renewal by emailing deskutils.app@gmail.com with enough order information to identify the transaction. Approved refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy and may revoke the associated license.

Beta software

Beta builds may contain defects, change without notice, require additional macOS confirmation during installation, or behave differently from a stable release. Back up important data and do not rely on DeskUtils as its sole copy.

System requirements and updates

DeskUtils requires macOS 15.2 or later. Check the release notes for supported Macs and build-specific requirements. Requirements may change as macOS and DeskUtils evolve. Updates are distributed through the official website and update feed.

Changes and support

These terms may be updated as DeskUtils develops. Material changes will be published on this page with a revised date. For licensing, refund or support questions, email deskutils.app@gmail.com.
